He has a strong background in telecommunications and IT, but has managed multinational projects in multiple industries. Ray has also served as an elected Councillor for the City of Southampton. p3m global was engaged by Dimension Data to define and lead a programme of improvements across the P3M practice. This engagement drew on a number of p3m global’s core areas of expertise including assessment, training and methodology development. The programme commenced with a P3M Pulse Competency Assessment which included both 360 degree online and face-to-face elements. The results of the assessment facilitated informed recommendations in the form of a detailed training plan for each individual, plus supplemental learning modules that could be tailored for each individual’s learning pace. Certification training requirements including on-site PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2 and ITIL which p3m global specialist trainers were able to successfully deliver. In parallel with the assessment process, p3m global consultants, in collaboration with Dimension Data management and senior P3M Practitioners defined and subsequently delivered a bespoke project management methodology “Primer” which was rolled out across the business.
